Nazca

The grand boulevard, but things don't always happen as planned.
The center of economic activity lies here, where the people and shops actually are. There is even a nice Chinese restaurant, where I ate lunch.

This is a small town at the edge of the desert with that amazing sights and because of that, a very busy airport. But wait....there is more. There are the Chauchilla graves, definitely worth seeing, the largest sand dune in the world, a treasure of a small Inca museum, and a 2000 year old canal system. The town itself is a mining and agricultural town with tourism an important economic factor.

There are older, quieter neighborhoods, like the one where my hostel is located

But just a few blocks away from there is where the main shopping areas lie, where souvenir shops, banks, ATMs, and the tourist industry dominate the scenery
